ACP Attends Coast Guard Women’s Leadership Initiative Event

On Friday, January 17, ACP was invited by the Coast Guard Women’s Leadership Initiative to attend their Officer Installation Ceremony at Fort Wadsworth - Liberty Chapter. During this event, a new chain of leaders was inducted into the Chapter for 2020 and future goals were discussed for the year ahead. The Coast Guard Women's Leadership Initiative is focused on leadership training and professional development opportunities for Coast Guard women, with the goal of increasing women’s retention in the Coast Guard and providing a support system for transitioning members. Lucie Piper, ACP's Women's Program Coordinator, attended the event in support of their mission and in an effort to assist members in their transition through ACP mentorships and additional professional development opportunities.
