On August 22, ACP was joined by S&P Global for a LinkedIn Live. S&P Global Inc. is an American publicly traded corporation headquartered in New York City focusing on financial information and analytics. S&P works with various industries such as government & regulatory agencies, academia, and investment & global banking. Their main objective is to help their clientele assess new investments to guide them through ESG and energy transition across supply chains. The company prides itself on being a military-friendly organization and a long-time partner of ACP since 2016.

The panel featured two guest speakers from S&P Global: George Moser, CISO, and Paul Alvarez, Cyber Risk, and Air Force Veteran. They discussed their paths into cybersecurity and what these roles mean in the financial field. They also provided insights on certifications, transferable skills, and general training that can help the military community break into the cybersecurity space. The event concluded with a live Q&A session with the virtual audience.
