ACP Presents: How Your Military Experience Translates to a Career at Ingredion

On June 6th, ACP was joined by Ingredion for an inside look at the company’s culture and hiring strategies. Ingredion is a global leader that provides ingredients used by customers in everyday products from foods and beverages to paper and pharmaceuticals. The purpose-driven company has been recognized as one of the “World’s Most Ethical Companies” and ranked 2nd in Fortune’s “World’s Most Admired Companies” list in the Food Production industry category. Their company's main objectives are homing into technology, nature, and sustainability. They serve 19,00 customers in 120 countries and represent 60 diverse market segments including food, beverage, paper and corrugating, brewing, and other industries.

The panel featured four speakers from Ingredion: Military Spouse Sherri Dublin, serving as VP of DEI, Communications, and Talent Acquisition CoE; Dave Gallagher, working as the Director of Sales and Business Development; Retired U.S. Army Reservist Willetta Hudson, who is the Director of the North America Human Resource department; and Monica Holmes, working as the Director of Regional Planning and Global SG&A. These panelists shared their personal career growth journeys within Ingredion and their active involvement in supporting the Veteran and Military Spouse community. They also embraced how the company helps their employee's growth development and provided insight on how to navigate the workspace once you have joined the team. The event was followed by a Q&A.
