ACP’s Career Blueprint: Financial Readiness for Transitioning Servicemembers and Military Spouses
On April 30th, ACP collaborated with Sarah Bumgardner, Director of Partnerships and Member Engagement at AAFMAA, to discuss financial preparations during military transition. Military families often times experience challenges as they switch jobs, relocate, purchase health insurance, pay taxes and more.
As the oldest non-profit financial solutions provider dedicated to supporting military families and Veterans, AAFMAA offers a comprehensive range of services including advice, insurance, financial planning, investments, mortgages, survivor assistance and more. The presentation provided valuable insights from the perspectives of both a Veteran and Military Spouse on navigating the financial landscape post-military service. The webinar focused on firsthand experiences and a few strategies towards steps to ensure a solid financial footing as military families begin a new chapter in their journey. The production was concluded with a live Q&A session following the discussion.
