ACP Presents: Mission Transition | Kickstart your Transition with The Home Depot
On October 26th, ACP was joined by Senior Vice President & Chief of Staff at American Corporate Partners, Richard Comitz, and panelists: Gabe Soltero, Brent Peterson, and Erik Hodgin for an insightful conversation about The Home Depot’s new online courseware for transitioning Veterans called Mission Transition. In addition, the panelists talked about ACP's mentorship program, from both the Mentor and Protégé perspective. Mission Transition is a series of free self-paced, online courses dedicated to supporting job seekers from the military community. The courses are filled with content, scenarios, and language specific to experience found in a military career and are available at no cost to the public.
Gabe is The Home Depot's Program Manager, Military Relations, former ACP Protégé, and former U.S. Navy pilot. Brent is a 20 year retired U.S. Air Force Veteran, former ACP Protégé, and currently works as an Associate Project Manager at The Home Depot. Erik has worked at The Home Depot for over 18 years and also gives back to the military community through his mentoring work with ACP. There will be a live question and answer segment from our audience following the panel discussion. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session with the virtual audience.
