ACP Presents: Military to CSX - Careers in Operations, Tech, and Logistics

On April 18th, ACP was joined by CSX for an inside look at the company’s culture and hiring strategies. CSX, a leader in the logistics industry, gives veterans an opportunity to build a career in operations, technology, and the supply chain. CSX helps North America commerce thrive and stay competitive in the global supply chain. Transitioning service members, Veterans, and Military Spouses have found that joining CSX gave them an opportunity to drive projects and oversee operations that play a key role in commerce.

Our Panelists were Les Davis (Recruiter - Manager of Train Operations), Jacob Thompson, (Senior IT Security Manager - Cybersecurity), CJ Smith (Instructional Designer on the Learning Development Team), and Jonathan Bautista (Service Desk Specialist). They discussed transition tips and the pathways that led them to their current roles in an industry where they were able to hone their skill sets and grow within the company.
