ACP’s Career Blueprint: Combating Underemployment with Nucor and Sensata Technologies

On May 25th, ACP’s Senior Vice President, Jana Toner, was joined by panelists Marc Brooks and Krista Allan for an insightful conversation about Veteran and Military Spouse underemployment. The issue facing our Veteran population is not unemployment after serving, it’s underemployment. The Institute for Veterans and Military Families reports that 61% of Veterans, 3 years after transitioning, experience underemployment. For Military Spouses, the Department of Defense reports 21% face unemployment, while 25% experience underemployment.
